Branded... but Make It Beautiful: Behind the Scenes of Our Corporate Orders

Branded... but Make It Beautiful: Behind the Scenes of Our Corporate Orders

WHAT.. A.. MONTH!

Here at Parkin & Lewis, I am all about the personal. A name, a phrase, a little reminder of someone or somewhere—that’s my love language. But every so often, I get a little corporate, and honestly? I love it.

Let us explain.

For the last 4 years, I've had the absolute joy of creating custom leather and wooden pieces for some rather fabulous names. We're talking private members clubs, whisky brands, design giants, and even YouTube HQ (yes, the YouTube).

What we love about these projects is that even in the world of logos and lanyards, there's still room for craft. These aren’t mass-produced giveaways—they’re keepsakes. Made slowly, made well, and made to last, and I am SUPER proud of them.

You Tube wooden Coaster for Glastonbury 2025

And let's not forget our wooden coasters for YouTube. I have made these for the last 3 years for an event at Glastonbury.  Sleek, minimal, and as camera-ready as the content creators they were made for. These were all about clean lines, natural materials, and subtle branding—a perfect match for a company that knows a thing or two about aesthetics.

Puma leather coaster painted pale pink.

I was utterly delighted when I was asked to make 60 pink coasters for Puma! Honestly this month has been a major pinch me moment.

Take our leather coasters, for example. Usually found beneath mugs of builder’s tea in home offices, they’ve also been spotted mingling with glasses of single malt. When a whisky brand got in touch looking for a way to elevate their tasting experiences, we created rich, tactile leather coasters, stamped with their name and ready to impress at every sip. They looked so good, even we started craving a dram (after hours, of course).

Tiger Tavern Leather Coasters with Gold logo added

This month I have also have been asked to make cloakroom tags for Adobe. Yes—actual Adobe. Imagine our leather tags, proudly bearing the Adobe logo, doing their chic little thing at a slick creative event. It felt like our hand-stamped magic had officially gone global.

I am obsessed with this bright red colour. I had to mix a magenta pink and a chilli red to get the Pantone match.
