The start to the year has been a super busy one work wise. I have done more corporate orders in the first 3 months of the year than the whole of last year combined.
I also turned cough 40 at end of March, which let me tell you was a massive shock to the system. I am not sure why, but man it was rough! (I know aging is a massive privilege and I am over it now but something about... 40!!)
Things have been quieter over Easter as we had our first family abroad holiday in years, we were lucky enough to go to Disneyworld in Florida. What a treat, my Mum and Sister came along for the ride, and honestly I can say we all had the best time. Action packed 10 days and I need another holiday to recover!
If you would like any tips or tricks let me know. There was sooo much research that went into this trip. I know all about lightening lanes and dining plans so get in touch if you want some help. (having said all that, it seems to change weekly so my knowledge is probably already out of date).
Meeting Stitch was a highlight for my youngest bless her.
We did all the 4 major parks twice, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Each family member had a different favourite park. My personal favourite was Animal Kingdom, it is utterly beautiful. We even managed to go on a safari there which I highly recommend. (go first thing in the morning or when it's raining when the animals are up and about).
We managed to do the 'drink around the world' at Epcot, which was a laugh if you are with other adults. Magic Kingdom was the kids favourite, this is where we used our lightening lanes, which essentially means you can queue jump at selected rides. Hollywood studios had the rides like tower of terror and an epic Toy Story and Star Wars section. All the Star Wars rides were incredible, as was Toy Story Mania, fun for all the family.
Also yes... we are those people who wear matching t-shirts to Disney! Every one does it ok! I am a full Disney convert and I need to go back!
Have you been? Which was your favourite park?
